1. Open Outlook Express, click Tools and then click Accounts...

  2. Click the Add and select Mail...

  3. Enter your Display Name. (This is your full name as you would like it to appear when you send messages to other people.) Then click Next.

  4. Enter your E-mail Address.
    This is the address that your contacts' email program will reply to your messages. This is also the address that will get recorded in your contacts' address book if they add you as a contact.

  5. Click Next.
  6. Select POP3 from the list of server types.
  7. Enter mail.yourdomain.co.za in the "Incoming Mail Server" field.
  8. Enter mail.yourdomain.co.za in the "Outgoing Mail Server" field.

  9. Click Next.
  10. Enter your E-mail address in the "Account Name" field, and you password in "Password" field if you wish.
    • Do not check the box labeled "Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)."

  11. Click Next.
  12. Click Finish to return to your account list.
  13. Highlight your Mail account, then click Properties.

  14. Click the Servers tab.
  15. Under Outgoing Mail Server, check the box labeled This server requires authentication.

  16. Click Settings.
  17. Check that Logon Information is set to Use the same settings as my incoming mail server. Click OK.

  18. Click the Advanced tab.

Your Mail account is now configured to check and send mail.
